The MIANS Songwriter's Circle
The Marquee Club, Sunday, September 25, 2pm - 4pm
Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance through NSMW Registration and Logistics Coordinator Caralee Murphy (423.6271 ext 4)
Writing a song is like painting a picture. It immortalizes a thought, feeling or impression. A good song often outlives the songwriter, who, in many cases, is never recognized for their efforts. In these instances the songwriter is faceless, writing hit songs for other artists and picking up the pay cheque at the end of the day.
The MIANS Songwriter's Circle is an intimate look at the people behind the songs. Join host Susan Crowe and special guests Jill Barber, Dave Carroll, Matt Mays, Joel Plaskett and Andrew White as they take you on a journey, combining stories of their inspirations with musical performances. This presentation will make you laugh, cry, think and feel.
